Early Years Music & Movement

A playful, nurturing introduction to music, rhythm, and social connection - combining music and yoga

This joyful in-home class is designed for babies and toddlers (ages 0-3) and their caregivers, offering a safe and welcoming space to explore music, movement, and connection.  Through singing, rhythm play, gentle instrument exploration, and movement activities, little ones build early coordination, listening skills, and a strong foundation for future learning.

This class supports not only musical development, but also social, emotional, and physical growth.  Music and movement strengthen the bond between caregiver and child, while group interaction helps babies begin to understand social cues, cooperation, and sharing in a natural, playful way.

Benefits of Early Musical Exposure:

- Supports brain development and language acquisition

- Encourages motor skills and body awareness

- Fosters emotional regulation and confidence

- Deepens caregiver-child connection through shared play

- Introduces rhythm, melody, and musical expression in age-appropriate ways.

Classes are kept small and relaxed to create a cozy, community feel.  No musical experience is needed - just bring your voice, your curiosity, and your little one!

Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays at 10am and run for 45 minutes in a calm, cozy home studio environment.

As a mother and Music Educator:

As both a music educator and a mother, I've experienced firsthand the incredible impact music can have in the earliest stages of life.  My daughter was born prematurely and spent the beginning of her life overcoming challenges that many babies her age never face.  Throughout her early development, music was more than just a comfort - it was a powerful tool for connection, communication, and growth.

From soothing lullabies to playful rhythm games, music became a way for us to bond, regulate, and celebrate small milestones.  I witnessed how sound and rhythm supported her sensory development, calmed her nervous system, and helped her engage with the world around her.

Today, at 16 years old, she studies drums, voice and piano - and her love for music continues to grow stronger every day.

This personal journey deeply informs my work with babies, toddlers, and families.  I bring both the knowledge of a trained music educator and the lived experience of a parent who knows how meaningful and healing music can be in those early years.

My goal is to offer a space where little ones can explore music at their own pace, and where parents feel supported, connected, and inspired along the way.
